Siddha treatment for Fissure

A tear in the anus or anal canal’s lining is known as an anal fissure (the opening through which stool passes out of the body). The fissure may bleed and cause pain. Anyone can get anal fissures at any age. As people age, their likelihood of developing an anal fissure reduces. Fissures are more likely to occur in people in the future if they have experienced them in the past. Anus and anal canal injuries can result in anal fissures. One or more of the following may be the source of the trauma: Constipation that persists over time, struggling to go to the bathroom, particularly if the stool is huge, hard, or dry, persistent diarrhoea, etc. Other factors besides trauma include persistent gastrointestinal problems, Spastic or too tight anal sphincter muscles (muscles that control the closing of the anus), angular anorectal scarring.

Anal fissure symptoms include pain during and even hours after a bowel movement. Constipation , if the outside of the stool is covered in blood. soiled toilet paper or wipes with blood, an obvious tear or break in the anal canal, discomfort when peeing, frequent urination, or an inability to urinate, together with burning and itching that may be severe.

Fissures and fistulas are referred to as Aasana vaai vedippu, Pouthiram, etc. in Siddha medicine and fall under the category of Moolanoigal. The term “rectal area” is moolam. Rectal diseases have been methodically divided into 21 kinds in Siddha medicine by Siddhar Yugi muni based on the following criteria: region of occurrence; derangement of a specific dosha (vata-pitta-kapha), and clinical symptoms. Loss of appetite, deterioration of seven body components leading to semen destruction, abdominal noises such as gurgling, rumbling, and growling, and recurrent episodes of loose stools are among the main clinical signs of moolam.

Pus arises and an abscess develops when an infection affects the small glands that open inside the anus. Draining the abscess is part of the treatment. It is best to do this while completely unconscious. An anal fistula could develop if the abscess is not properly drained. This is an unusual tube-like route that connects the anal canal with a skin opening close to the anus. Blood and pus can leak out of chronic fistulas. According to Siddha medicine, Fistula and Pavuthira Moolam share similarities in their symptoms.

The mother of all treatment systems, Siddha, is able to meet practically all patient demands in cases where the traditional allopathic system fails miserably. Many nations have taken notice of this and have incorporated Siddha into their national health programmes. There are many different forms of traditional Indian medicine for treating rectal disorders, from preventing them to curing the ones that are already present. The siddha system of medicine places a strong emphasis on preventive measures, which include maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
